Eco-Patriots was founded in the belief that with American innovation and pragmatism, we can make significant changes to benefit the environment. Through their emissions contract retirement program, the Clean Air Conservancy embodies this idea.

Emissions markets allow us to treat pollution as a commodity. By
buying and permanently retiring air pollution allowances and carbon reduction credits, the CAC is taking tangible steps towards cleaner air.

Today, the Clean Air Conservancy Trust holds over 7 billion pounds of SOX, NOX and CO2, and is one of the largest banks of retired credits and allowances.

The Clean Air Conservancy is a non-partisan, non-profit organization dedicated to continuously improving our shared environment by retiring marketable emission-reduction credits. Their goal is to participate in developing local, regional, national and global pollution markets in ways that can produce cleaner air and help slow the pace of global climate change. As an active market participant, the CAC is dedicated to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of existing and developing markets.

With the dollars raised by Eco-Patriots the CAC was able to permanently retire the rights to 2,000 metric tons of CO2. That is equivalent to burning 225,000 gallons of gasoline, 5,400 tons of Bituminous coal, or the average annual emissions of 4,700 cars in the U.S. Thanks to you all for your support.
